Hanifa Nayo Washington is an award winning sacred activist, inspiring thought partner, creative visionary, storyteller, musician and heart-centered facilitator. She has been combining arts, healing, and activism to make the world a better place for 20+ years. Hanifa is a certified Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master Practitioner whose life practices focus on creating healing spaces rooted in the values of beloved community so all people can heal from the emotional, physical and spiritual impacts of systems of oppression, trauma, and disconnection. As the Cultivator of Beloved Community, Hanifa supports the overall strategic vision for Fireside Project with a focus on organizational development, organizational culture, strategies for equity and belonging, and organizational branding. Hanifa is also the Principal Organizer & Co-Founding Practitioner of One Village Healing, a BIPOC womxn led mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness initiative that centers inclusion, accessibility, mindfulness as preventative medicine, affinity healing, and psychedelic wellness as its core practices.
