Sashko Despotovski

Sashko Despotovski is a seasoned investment banker and an active investor in both private and public companies. He is a Canadian national living in the Nordics, with mid market and venture transactional experience in the medical, cleantech and technology sectors. Sashko has held posts within several funds and hedge funds in the investment banking capacity in USA, Canada and now European markets, as well as on the operational side as management and as a director for a number of companies. Sashko tenured as an M&A Director at one of the Big Four, and served as a Special Advisor to the firm, focusing on mid market cross border transactions. His specialties are fundraising and fund dissemination. He manages Hinna Park Capital venture fund in Norway, is an investment director to a Luxembourg fund, is involved with a number of business as a Resident-VC in UAE. Sashko holds various advisory seats and is a board member of publicly listed Sharc International Systems Inc. (SHRC.CN) and The Delic Corp. (DELC.CN), and board advisor to Maitri Health (MTEC.CN). Sashko’s peer reviewed manuscripts can be found in various medical and science journals; he was historically an editor and editor-in-chief of JEM. Sashko is a University of British Columbia (Jack Bell Research Centre) and University of the Fraser Valley science graduate and has held various alumni posts within both institutions. Sasha is one of the founding members, and is an acting CFO of a British-Norwegian agritech company MEGA AS, involved on a project with the European Space Agency.
